I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m mom to 2 wild, barefoot boys who rarely sit still long enough for me to take their photos… but it doesn’t stop me from chasing their joy with a camera in hand! I want to capture their personalities and details at every stage of their life. Stick around long enough and you’ll see snippets of them on my social media. I graduated from Creighton in 2014 and moved outside the metro shortly after. I love any chance to get back to Omaha for a musical or sushi date.

My photography journey started in high school, but it wasn’t until my first son was born that I picked up my camera with purpose. I quickly fell in love with capturing tiny details, genuine laughter, and the kind of emotion that lives in the in-between moments.

Claire Petersen Photography was born after a few senior sessions lit a creative fire I couldn’t ignore. There’s just something magical about senior portraits—one-on-one time to connect, build confidence, and capture who you are right now, in all your shine.
